In 2026, Lake Wallenpaupack celebrates 100 years as one of Pennsylvania’s most iconic destinations. The Lake Wallenpaupack Centennial Celebration is a multi-day community event honoring the lake’s rich history, lasting impact, and bright future. The celebration will bring together residents, visitors, businesses, and community leaders for waterfront festivities, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and special commemorative moments. This once-in-a-century milestone highlights the lake’s role in shaping our region while showcasing the vibrant community that continues to thrive along its shores.

Friday, July 24th
10 AM – 4 PM Official Centennial Shirts- this is your chance to get your official t-shirts under the tents at the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center – 2512 Route 6, Hawley
10 AM – 3 PM – Lighthouse Harbor Marina – Tafton, PA – Free Boat rides – This is FREE to the public and intended for Non-Lighthouse Harbor Marina customers. Slots are limited and we recommend signed up ahead to guarantee a spot. Please read and follow the information below.
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Yak ‘n’ Yarn – Hawley Public Library – 103 Main Ave., Hawley- Anyone who knits, quilts, embroiders, crochets or any type of fiber art is welcome. Bring your own project and materials. Meet with like-minded crafters and enjoy lively conversation! This program is for Adults – registration is not required.
